Situation
Freelancers and agencies faced constant client pings and status meetings due to lack of clear, client-friendly progress visibility.
Existing tools (Jira, Notion, Asana) were internal, heavy, and poorly adopted by clients.
Task
Design and build a lightweight, client-facing system that shares real-time project progress without logins, meetings, or workflow disruption.
Reduce interruption-driven context switching and stakeholder anxiety.
Action
Defined a clear product wedge: client-facing visibility layer, not task management.
Designed a calm, minimal UX focused on reassurance and clarity.
Built a shareable, no-login progress page with milestones, status states, and emoji reactions.
Implemented Supabase auth, scalable backend, and production-ready deployment.
Crafted positioning, branding, and messaging aligned with emotional pain points.
Result
